Diving Great Barrier Reef depart from Port Douglas
Departure – Pick up from Cairns Airport and transfer to the vessel, which departs from the Reef Marina, Port Douglas and travels the waters inside the Great Barrier Reef , visiting coral reefs on your journey North. (flexible departure time)
This trip is a small group of maximum of 12 passengers for the best experience on a purpose built vessel, that is designed to explore the Great Barrier Reef. The boat has been used by documentary makers and researchers and has traveled the Far North to the Torres Straits. Your Diving guides are highly professional and experienced, the Captain and crew are very knowledgeable. Get your group together and create an experience with expert instructors and crew to guide your underwater journey.
Ribbon Reefs – Time is spent diving the Ribbon Reefs at various locations that we have chosen for their diversity of marine life and architecture. You will see giant clams up to 2 metres across, huge coral gardens, swim throughs and an abundance of marine life unmatched anywhere on this planet. 3 day dives and a night dive.
On our way home – We can dive or visit a beautiful sand cay on this day, as we are now nearing the end of our trip. The last day can be flexible to suit the weather, and can include dives on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef and feature unique coral formations and fish life. Then cruise through the reefs arriving back into Port Douglas at approx 3.30 pm. (this arrangement can be flexible). Transfer to accommodation at Port Douglas, Cairns or the Rain forest to complete your Great barrier Reef Experience.
